The city of Venice covers 117 small islands in the marshy Venice Lagoon along the Adriatic Sea innortheast Italy. Venice and its buildings are threatened by flood tides pushing water in from the Adriaticseveral times per year. One of the safeguarding activities against the high waters in the VeniceLagoon is the defence system called MOSE.  
The aim of the project is to strengthen the water sector in Mongolia in their capacity to implement
Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM).
This JIP deals with jack-ups used for installation and maintenance of offshore Windparks. The objectives are to understand limiting operational aspects for jacking operations and to provide guidelines to determine and enlarge the operational envelope. The JIP is an initiative of Deltares and Marin.
The second Coentunnel is to be built only ten to fifteen meters east of the existing Coentunnel and
will consist of a total of five lanes in two asymmetrical tubes.
Station Spui was constructed by making diaphragm walls that were connected at 28m depth by a silicate gel injected layer to isolate the excavation from the aquifer and enable dewatering.
