assignment/short description
The Universidad Tecnológica del Chocó has been charged with studies and analyses to investigate the technical, socio-economical and environmental feasibility of the Atrato – San Juan transport corridor in Colombia.
This transport corridor will connect the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean, boosting the economy of the Chocó department and making Asian markets more accessible for Colombian products. The university asked Deltares to provide technical support and software for assessing the technical feasibility of making the rivers of the corridor more navigable.
