assignment/short description
The Tramtunnel was constructed from 1996 to 2004, using the top-down construction method to limit interference with traffic.
Station Spui was constructed by making diaphragm walls that were connected at 28m depth by a silicate gel injected layer to isolate the excavation from the aquifer and enable dewatering. Vertical anchors were pre-installed to connect with the future station floor.
