Morphodynamics of Lagunes and Estuaries

As of January 1, Zheng Bing Wang, employed by Deltares has been appointed professor Morphodynamics of Lagunes and Estuaries at the Technical University in Delft. The chair of Morphodynamics of Lagunes and Estuaries is a new chair within the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences.

Prof dr ir Wang has a long standing reputation as an expert in morphology and sediments at Deltares (and before that at Delft Hydraulics). Next to that he was affiliated to the Techical University of Delft, department of  Hydraulic Engineering (chair river engineering) as an associate professor.
