Deltares signs cooperation agreement with Barr Engineering Canada

On 23 June, Barr Engineering and Environmental Science Canada Ltd. opened their new office on 4th Avenue in Calgary. Shortly after the official opening, a ribbon cutting ceremony, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed for Exclusive Teaming and Confidentiality for Oil Sands Projects between Deltares and Barr. For Deltares, Erik Janse, Johan Pennekamp en Walther van Kesteren were present at the signing.

During his speech, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Barr, Mr Douglas Connell, indicated that this MoU represents the cooperation in Canada between Barr and Deltares, which they have built over the past few years.

Erik Janse in his turn said that Barr and Deltares complement each other’s strengths and through this MoU they can now support the Canadian Oil Sands Industry even more effectively.
