Honoured to be visited
On May 12 Deltares had the honour to be visited by the Honourable Ms Jo Ellen Darcy, Assistant Secretary of the US Army (Civil Works), in charge of the US Army Corps, and the Ambassador of The United States of America to the Kingdom of The Netherlands, Her Excellency Mrs. Fay Hartog Levin.
Presentations about the flood management and wetland stabilization in Louisiana, the Dutch Delta Programme, Flood Forecasting and Building with Nature were given by Deltares experts and on the last topic also by an expert working at Van Oord.
The visit was concluded by a tour to the Laboratory Research Facilities.
